O’k, Here’s the story on this baby…

This guitar is a completely original handcrafted (in the USA) custom piece that was purchased from us in the beginning of October 2006. The buyer has since come upon some difficult times financially and has asked if I would resell it for him.  The guitar is still in mint shape but must sold as a used instrument.

Here's the rundown:

Body style: Jackson

Body wood: Swamp Ash

Neck: Thin back-shape Maple neck w/ med/jumbo frets

Fretboard: Dressed Rosewood (smooth as silk)

Fret-ware: Virtually None

Pickups:

Neck – AGI-Lace Arena Dually (see http://www.agi-lace.com/electric_pickups/arena/arena_specs.php for specs)

Bridge – Custom Dan Armstrong Humbucker (resistance=16k)

Electronic Controls: 1 Volume push-pull pot (splits coils in neck pickup); 1 tone push-pull pot (splits coils in bridge pickup); 3 way pickup selector switch (bridge alone- bridge/neck – neck alone).  The coil tapping capabilities of the pots offers you 9 different pickup variations).

Finish: Halo-Flash Flip Flop Lacquer with metallic chrome flames embedded in 6 layers of 2 part chemically cured polymer resin and 4 color handpainted abstract artwork applied in subsequent stages within those layers resulting in a 3 dimentional effect. .  The guitar changes colors (depending on how you view it) from purple, plum, wine, & rose, to gold, blue, teal to green, and other colors in between.  The metallic chrome inlayed flames act like mirrors and when caught by the stage lights will reflect beams of light across your audience.  It is really Super Cool!

Weight: about 10 lbs. (about the same as a Les Paul or PRS)

Sound: The coil tapping capabilities of the instrument makes it very versatile.  Use the single coil modes for a great vintage strat sound; combine one pup in full humbucker mode with just a single coil in the other pup for a fatter sound; or use both buckers in full mode and she’ll sound as intimidating and ominous as she looks!
