“Eminence”

The “Eminence” is a custom shop 1988 Charvel designed and created by Phil Wayne and handcrafted in the USA with a complete refinish in 2008.  Besides her stunning looks with her Marbleized Flame Finish, she’s loaded with original 1988 EMG active pickups (81/S/S), Original Floyd Rose Speedloader Bridge, and Custom circuitry by “Toto”.   The tone pot is actually an active four-stage Tone Expander circuit board (see details below).  The Volume control is a push/pull pot that allows you to change the phase of the pickup.  The pickups each have their own on/off mini switch that allows you to turn them on and off independently allowing for any and all pickup combinations. This custom axe has a terrific smooth feel and very versatile sound options.  The neck is fast and in great shape.  The jumbo frets have lots of life left on them (approx. 85-90%).

-         The TONE EXPANDER circuit board is a circuit that maintains your gain (no loss of      level when switching) and provides 4 very different frequency filters for some tremendous tones that a regular tone pot could only dream about.
