Phil Wayne Custom "Petra" Telecaster
She’s appropriately named Petra (meaning “Rock”) as the top body surface looks like a slab of granite with gold leaf graphics and gold hardware. The unique Phil Wayne artwork on the sides over jet black basecoat, an ”ice” halo-flash flip/flop finish on the back of the body, are fully accented with gold hardware throughout. As well as an excellent tone wood, the lightweight string-thru Paulowina body on this axe makes for a terrific sounding lightweight stage guitar as she weighs in at only 6 lbs 9oz.
Electronics are standard Tele with the added feature of a Push/Pull volume pot that allows for phase shift between the Seymour Duncan STR-2 (bridge) and STL-2 (neck) pickups.
If you want a 1 of a kind unique custom instrument without having to pay thousands of dollars to get one, this cool funky guitar represents a more than excellent value.
