Another 1 of a kind Tone Monster from the Phil Wayne Collection of exotic custom art guitars offering a myriad of different tones making this special piece one that is both extremely versatile for all genres of music and has looks that’ll knock ya over!
The front finish is what we are calling “rainbow irredecent ice” with cool chrome tribal graphics buried into the finish. The sides and back of the body have the unique signature Phil Wayne marble swirl design over a purple/blue/green halo flash flip-flop undercoat. The active circuitry make the sound qualities of this axe outstanding and she plays like a dream.

Exotic Custom Active Circuitry by Toto featuring
-1 Volume push/pull- shifts the phase of coils on Bridge pickup
-1 tone push/pull- kills both middle and neck pup in up position and is a tone pot for all pickups
-1 BCU Tone Expander - The "BCU" is a built-in "Cure All" for tone junkies. First of all, this multi tasking unit features a push/pull on/off sending the unit to a true bypass mode when you push/pull on your knob. When in the "on" position, the knob functions as a Tone Expander. In the center (knob at about 5), it is a Harmonic Boost (adds lots of Sustain, and Harmonic Boost, with a slight mid-high band shift on the EQ). As you turn your knob down, you increase the Midrange in your sound. Giving you enough chunk to make the single coils sound as thick as a humbucker. However, if you turn the knob in the other direction, you boost the High & Low end of your tone (Scooping the Mids, like a "V" shaped EQ). This is very similar to the mod used by such legends as Eric Clapton.
-5 mini toggle switches – provide the following:
Sw #1- SPDT chooses between 2 capacitors for overall tone variation
Sw #2- DPTT series/split/parallel operation for Dimarzio bridge humbucker pickup
Sw #3- SPDT on/off switch for bridge pickup
Sw #4- DPTT puts middle & neck pickup in either series or parallel with one another (up/down
positions) and shuts off middle pickup in the middle position.
Sw #5- On/Off switch for neck pickup
