Phil Wayne Custom Jackson
“Crucible”

Jackson produces some fine guitars, but this is not your typical Jackson. This axe has been totally transformed in our Custom Shop both inside and out. She’ll take your breath away with her feel and playability and slaughter your audiences with her looks and sound! Don’t let the simplistic look of the controls fool ya. Inside this beast are active electronic circuits (custom circuits designed by "Toto" ) that’ll distort your tattoos and set your hair on fire (whether or not you have any) making this axe totally unique in every respect. With her looks to kill, and sound that'll mesmerize, you can be sure that she’ll improve your performance regardless of your level of capability.

The controlling circuit board is a combined equalizer that has three unique functions in one unit. First, is a mid-band peak control; second is a flat booster, and third is the frequency expander.

Knob at “0”; leads your pickup sound weightier and rich by boosting the gain in a mid-range and reduce the low and high frequency range
Knob at “5” ; leads your pickup sound and gives the harmonics a boost. In that respect it is similar to an ordinary flat booster.
Knob at “10” ; gives your pickup crystal-clear and vivid tone by expanding the frequency range. It increases the bass and treble by boosting the high and low frequency range while mid range is 'V' shaped.
Just pull the knob to up to bypass the Expander Circuit and she becomes a traditional Tone Control.
